A Guide to Waking Up with Cars & Coffee in Cocoa

January 18th, 2024 by

Cars and coffee: the two most required components for your morning routine and commute. Your car is there to provide you with safe transport, while your coffee provides… well, everything else. For many Americans, it’s impossible to start the day without either.

Jerry Seinfeld understands the unique bond between the automotive and hot beverage industries; he’s made an entire post-Seinfeld career out of it with his Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee series. Similarly, Cars & Coffee events bring us together, urging us to begin our weekend mornings by bonding over a communal love of unique, vintage vehicles.

Courtesy of Jackson Kia, here are a few Cars & Coffee events that meet regularly in the Cocoa area and down the coast:

Dixie Cruisers Cars & Coffee (Cocoa)

Dixie Cruisers Cars & Coffee is open to all makes and models every second Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. They meet at C’s Waffles at 5600 FL-524, meaning that, yes – in addition to antique cars and freshly brewed coffee, breakfast is also on the table. With a menu boasting over a dozen waffle options, C’s is one of Cocoa’s most frequented breakfast joints for a reason.

Space Coast Cars & Coffee (Rockledge)

Rockledge’s astronautical Cars & Coffee event meets on the second Saturday of each month at the Thrifty parking lot on 910 Barton Boulevard in Rockledge. They’re the rare Cars & Coffee event to give you an evening hit of caffeine, as they convene from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Don’t worry about dinner and dessert, as the Thrifty is located right next to both PizzaVola and Ice Cream Hut.

Orlando Cars & Coffee (Melbourne)

Brought to you by Tint World Melbourne, this free event is held every first Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to noon at 3945 West Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne. Make sure to arrive early so that you can watch the vehicles roll in!

Saint Lucie Lanes Cars & Coffee (Port St. Lucie)

If you feel like kicking off your Saturday with a short road trip (and who doesn’t?), consider making the drive down I-95 to Port St. Lucie for the Saint Lucie Lanes Cars & Coffee event. The bowling alley hosts this meetup of classic car aficionados every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. It’s a newer event, so the number of cars is increasing every week… unlike your bowling score.

Old Town Exotic Cars & Coffee (Kissimmee)

The next time you find yourself in the Orlando area for the weekend, consider a trip to Old Town Exotic Cars & Coffee in Kissimmee. They meet from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. every fourth Sunday (meaning you can still get to January’s meetup on the 28th). Coffee, a full lineup of exotic vehicles, and car talk with a community of auto enthusiasts – what more could you ask for?

Grab a Cup of Joe and Pay Us a Visit

Coffee is on the house when you visit us at Brevard County’s most trusted dealership, Jackson Kia. With our help, it will be safely tucked into the cup holder of your new Kia when you drive off our lot. 2024 models – aka the antique cars of the future – are currently available, from the K5 midsize sedan to the Carnival MPV.

If you’re at your caffeine limit but still craving a jolt of excitement, look no further than Jackson Kia.
